Over the course of the debate, I began to suspect that Kamala’s large earrings were more than just earrings. Many others observed the same thing, pointing to the potential culprit of the Nova H1 Audio Earrings.
Since last night, I haven’t been quite as convinced that it is that very same kind of earring, they look slightly different. Her earrings could be a different or modified version, or just simply be inert earrings.
That’s all frankly irrelevant. If it were true that Kamala Harris was receiving a live audio feed from someone offstage, it would just be another stone on the pile. A different form of “legal rigging”.
What do I mean by legal rigging? Rigging, by its nature, is mostly considered illegal. A better way to put it might be “gamesmanship”, to force every possible advantage, even in ways considered underhanded. Nevertheless, I will refer to it as “legal rigging” in order to distinguish between it and “illegal rigging”.
It is obvious to anyone with a functioning brain, eyes, and ears that there was collusion between the moderators and Kamala Harris. This collusion likely came in the form of Harris receiving the questions beforehand in order to prepare for them, while Trump did not. This is neither illegal, nor prohibited by the rules, and I do not even believe this has or will be denied.
It is also clear that the moderators made attempts to interrupt Trump when he was making good points. News sites “fact checked” Trump but not Harris nearly as much. The lighting seems to have been changed to make Trump look worse and Harris look lighter skinned. I’m sure there’s more, but you get the idea.
All of this is practically irrelevant too. This debate changed betting odds (the best predictor in my opinion) by 6 to 8 points, which will gradually even out until the next debate then election. This is just political theatre, built to make people think they have a real choice when they obviously don’t.
Looking back, I understand the extreme hatred the left wing had for Trump. He was energetic and vitriolic and wielded a huge populist backlash, then he went into office and did fuck all. I guess the media realized then that they could be king makers and just kept abusing their power, no matter how impotent Trump ended up being.
The media has continued to use their power to influence the minds of the general populace. It’s not so much making sure one candidate wins the election as it is “manufacturing consent”, as many have put it.
With all that said, I believe that the Trump campaign has focused too much on illegal rigging than legal rigging. I don’t know if the 2020 election was “rigged”. There’s a lot of smoke but no visible fire. That’s not the point. I don’t really care, actually. Either way, the result is an inditement of democracy. As we saw with Trump, no matter who the President is, so long as they can’t burn the whole thing down, our bureaucracy will keep going.
If the election was illegally rigged, enough consent was manufactured to allow the result to be accepted, despite the pistol smoke. If it was not, enough consent was manufactured to “democratically” install a new leader.
Does the media really have that power? Of course. You’re delusional if you can’t see that. Kamala Harris’s campaign has been almost entirely manufactured by the media, and that’s just one obvious example. If you still don’t believe me, here’s something a bit more dystopian.
According to Robert Epstein in this congressional hearing, Google search results alone could have altered the result of 2016 by 2.6 million votes. That’s tens of thousands of votes in important swing states. He also states that future elections could see as many as 15 million votes swayed, given that almost every internet searching platform is left wing. This is by far enough to alter the outcome of a presidential election.
This is just some dude talking about his projections, sure. Still, you can see all of this with your own eyes. Everyone uses Google, and google results can define public consciousness about a particular subject. Results can be altered or removed, prioritizing left wing sites. What’s worse, people from particular areas and demographics, with particular beliefs, can be targeted with particular results. Google has the data to influence people right down to the individual, and so do other platforms.
This behavior, while legal, is obviously anti-democratic. I would really be torn up about this if I believed in democracy. However, the cracks in the democratic facade are really starting to show. 2020 was pretty blatant, and it has become increasingly obvious that there is an unbridgeable gap between Us and Them. Does the election matter? Yes, probably. Trump will be at least mollifying on important issues like immigration, while under Harris the problem will accelerate.
I don’t actually think the structure of the American government even needs to change. Power and legitimacy aren’t derived from government and it’s democracy anymore (if it ever was), they flow from the academic and media class. America makes a lot more sense when you realize it’s a theocracy. Just note this down as another mark against mass democracy. Power is still in the hands of a minority who shape public perception.
The earring thing was interesting, but after more study I don't think those are the same earrings. People pointed out that some Tiffany earrings are probably what she was wearing, and I agree.
Besides that, the debate was definitely rigged. The moderators were adversarial towards Trump and supportive of Kamala.
I can't bring myself to care about these things anymore. In a way, it's comforting to know that it's so far out of my control and I don't really have to.
